DME Care Coordinator Location: RemoteCompensation: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour (Commensurate with experience)Shift: Full-Time, 8-hour shift scheduled between 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM ESTPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive DME Care Coordinator to join a fast-paced, high-volume team. This role focuses specifically on orthotics and bracing (e.g., knee braces, AFOs, wrist/hand braces, cervical collars, LSOs, and TLSOs).As a remote coordinator, you will act as the vital link between referral sources, injured workers, and DME providers. Your mission is to ensure seamless authorization, precise ordering, and timely delivery of equipment while maintaining a "customer-first" mentality and strict regulatory compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesReferral Management: Receive and process DME referrals; ensure written authorization is secured from payors prior to equipment delivery.Coordination & Logistics: Partner with providers and injured workers to ensure the correct DME is delivered within specified timeframes.Communication: Provide consistent status updates to all stakeholders and confirm successful delivery of equipment.Financial Accuracy: Deliver timely pricing data to the Billing Department and assist in expanding the provider network to secure competitive pricing.Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records in proprietary software and ensure a smooth flow of information between internal teams.Availability: Maintain reliable attendance; participate in a weekend on-call rotation as needed (additional compensation provided).QualificationsExperience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in healthcare, DME, insurance, or a physician practice.
