In this role, you'll handle file preparation, design, layout, and troubleshooting to ensure every job meets our high standards and exceeds customer expectations. You'll collaborate with sales, customer service, and press operators to deliver accurate, high-quality work on time—every time.Your Day-to-Day:Receive and prepare customer files for print productionDesign and layout projects based on job specifications and customer needsWork with the team to review and approve designs before they go to pressCreate and deliver proofs to customers, meeting deadlinesPreflight and troubleshoot digital files - catching issues before they become problemsAdjust graphics, handle color separations and ensure color accuracyPrepare files for output to plates, film and digital presses with precisionSet up files properly so press operators have everything they need to succeedMaintain detailed records for each job, including specifications and production timesCommunicate with customer service team, sales, and production to keep projects on trackWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree (preferred) and at least 2 years of graphic layout/design experienceMinimum 1 year of print production experienceExpert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)Strong knowledge of PDF files, imposition, and color processes (CMYK, spot colors, etc.)Sharp attention to detail and unwavering commitment to qualityAbility to read measurements and follow technical specifications accuratelyYou'll thrive here if you:Get satisfaction from catching errors before they happenCan juggle multiple projects and deadlinesEnjoy solving technical puzzles and troubleshooting file issuesCommunicate clearly with both creative and technical team membersStay calm under pressure and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environmentTake pride in seeing your work come to life in printAre a team player who understands your work impacts everyone downstreamWhat We OfferPay rate: $17.50 - $22.50 (based on experience)Medical insurancePaid time off and paid holidays401(k) retirement plan with company matchOpportunities to work on diverse, interesting projectsModern equipment and technologyA workplace that values you as a person, not just an employeeReady to Join Us?If you're a design and prepress pro who loves precision work, thrives on problem-solving, and wants to be part of a team that's going places, we'd love to hear from you.Powered by JazzHR
