Interior Designer

Job descriptionCPD is looking for an artful Interior designer to undertake a variety of space designing projects in the upper mid-range hospitality sector for all brands. You will deal with design from conceptual development and liaising with the Ownership and Brands to managing and executing the design.ResponsibilitiesUndertake design project from concept to completionDefine project requirements and schedulesInterpret and translate customer and Brand needs into rough plans and designSet costs and project fees according to budgetResearch and decide on materials and products sourcingProduce “sample” and “mood products”Supervise work progressWork closely with designers, architects and contractorsResearch and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practicesSkillsProven working experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions)Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design programsProficient with Microsoft Office ApplicationsExcellent portfolio of previous worksCreative talent, imagination and eye for designCommunication and presentation skillsProject management skillsBS degree in Interior Design or similarJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingPaid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayExperience:AutoCAD: 4 years (Required)Hotel Design: 2 years (Required)SketchupMicrosoft Office 365, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OutlookWork Location: In person
