Job Title: Full Stack Application Development and Support EngineerOverview:We are seeking a talented Full Stack Application Development and Support Engineer to join our dynamic, diversely skilled team. This role focuses on enhancing, extending, integrating, and supporting an enterprise field mapping system relied upon by hundreds of end-users daily.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain full-stack applications for an enterprise geospatial system.Collaborate with a committed team to deliver high-quality solutions with urgency and focus.Integrate contemporary geospatial technologies for practical, innovative use cases.Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for mission-critical applications.Required Skills:Proficiency in React, Python, SQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, and support for enterprise business system integrations enabled via AWS.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Experience with geospatial technologies is a plus.What We Offer:Opportunity to creatively leverage modern geospatial technology in real-world applications.A collaborative, supportive team environment committed to excellence.Experience, Skills, and Abilities: 4+ years of technical experience working in software development, solution design, and supportExperience designing and implementing enterprise-level software solutions with the above-listed technologiesProven ability to work with AWS infrastructure, data services, and serverless technologies (Lambda)Strong analytical and critical thinking skills – what questions do you ask to get to the root of the matter?Eager to learn, adapt, and perfect your work; you are curious but seek out help when needed and put it to good useYou are very personable - an excellent communicator (both written and verbal) who enjoys interacting with othersYou are highly responsible and self-motivated, with exceptional attention to detail** Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship by Gartrell.Location: Portland, OR, or RemoteJob Type: Contract to hire.Compensation: $60-$70/hr. depending on experienceSchedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift, Pacific TimeThe Gartrell Group is an equal opportunity employer, and we value diversity on our team.
