Fitter Welder - 1st & 2nd Shifts

Summary:The QTI Group is recruiting welders for a well-respected company in Waukesha, WI. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of welding experience within a manufacturing setting and the ability to read schematics and weld symbols.1st ShiftMonday-Friday 6:00am-2:00pm Up to $29 (based on experience) 2nd ShiftMonday-Friday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM Up to $29 (based on experience) Direct Hire Responsibilities:Read and comprehend welding instructions and structural drawings Work from drawings, patterns, fixtures and specifications Layout and operate both fuel gas and plasma hand torches for fitting purposes Perform welding processes, including solid wire, flux core, overhead, horizontal, etc. Qualifications:Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift for an entire shift Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. At least 2 years of related experience High school diploma or equivalent
