Development Associate – National Multifamily DeveloperWe are seeking a Development Associate with an architectural or engineering background to support the planning and execution of multifamily developments across a growing national portfolio.Working alongside senior development leadership, this individual will assist with projects throughout the full development lifecycle—from site evaluation and due diligence through design, permitting, construction, stabilization, and completion.Key responsibilities include:Coordinating architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and local authoritiesManaging design development, drawing reviews, permitting, and entitlement activitiesReviewing plans for constructability, coordination issues, and alignment with project requirementsTracking project budgets, schedules, risks, and key development milestonesSupporting site evaluation, technical due diligence, and consultant selectionMonitoring construction progress and helping resolve design or engineering issuesPreparing project reports and presentations for senior leadership and investment partnersTraveling to project sites and markets throughout the United States as requiredThe ideal candidate will have:3–7 years of experience in architecture, engineering, construction, or real estate developmentA bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related disciplineExperience working on multifamily, residential, hospitality, or mixed-use projectsStrong knowledge of design coordination, permitting, construction documents, and building systemsProficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit; experience with Procore is beneficialExcellent communication, organization, and project-management skillsThe ability and willingness to travel nationallyThis is an excellent opportunity for an architect or engineer looking to transition into development and gain exposure to the complete lifecycle of multifamily projects across multiple markets.
