Forward Deployed Engineer Secure Services Edge (Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer Secure Services Edge (remote) to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Telecommunications & Hardware environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $186,900 – $267,700 annuallyResponsibilities Lead technical relationships for large, strategic SSE accounts Drive account health through proactive deployment and configuration management Create clean escalation reports for engineering, translating technical details back to customers Provide feedback from customer experiences into product and engineering roadmaps Develop and maintain CX-driven runbooks and documentation based on deployments Utilize AI-assisted log analysis while ensuring conclusions are verified Script diagnostic and automation tasks using Bash or PythonQualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field with extensive networking/security experience 7+ years in networking/security with direct customer ownership Strong knowledge of networking protocols and security technologies, including DNS, IPsec, TLS, and SSO Experience with zero trust access, VPN, and enterprise-level firewall policies 5+ years of identity and SSO deployment experience in production environmentsBenefits Fully remote position accessible from anywhere in the U.S Opportunity to influence product direction within the security domain Engage with globally distributed teams and customers, promoting diverse perspectives Participate in a follow-the-sun escalation model, enhancing global collaborationOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
