The Information Governance Specialist's primary purpose is to assist in the implementation of an enterprise data governance program. This position assists with the creation, tracking, release and retention processes of physical and electronic files.Responsibilities:Conduct testing and training for the department's record management system (RMS) upgradesAssist with creating departmental reference material for the RMSConduct data entry audits to ensure quality information is being captured in the RMSAssist with preparation of files for off-site storageExecute electronic and physical client file releases in accordance with our Information Governance policiesReview and analyze data, accurately identify trends and resolve problemsAssist with client file data entry and destructionRequirements:Associate's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field required.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience related to records and information management preferred.1-2 years of office, records and information management experienceStrong analytical and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervisionAbility to deliver a high level of customer serviceBasic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project and Outlook
