TRUCK DRIVER - AGGREGATE (SEASONAL)

We are also a publicly traded company on the NYSE with the ticker symbol KNF and part of the S&P MidCap 400 index.ROLE OVERVIEW:This is a seasonal position, you can use your winters off to travel, hunt, fish or for other activities you enjoy while your benefits continue year-roundThis position is responsible for operating a straight truck or tractor-trailer equipment and maintaining equipment properly in order to transport material to designated location in a timely manner.DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES (summary of components that make up the job)Safely operate Class A or B truck to transport asphalt or aggregate to job site often times driving on uneven or unfinished surfaceInspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck conditionMaintains driver log according to ICC regulations as requiredMay operate loader to load aggregate into truck boxDaily maintenance of equipment such as cleaning truck inside and out, greasing, oiling, brakes, lights and any other maintenance instructed to performRecognize surroundings and practice traffic awareness to maintain a safe environmentAssist with plant maintenance, repairs, set up and take downsTarp load when neededClean spilled material/buildup off box (spill chutes, belts, side boards, etc.)Verify that gates are closedComplete load ticketsAssist construction crews while waiting to unloadSpread productMaintain proper information in truck cab pouchReport information accurately and completely on daily timecards, truck cab information and other needed paperworkEnsure MSHA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliance.Always work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors.Perform other duties as assigned.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (minimum educational, experience, or other relevant job requirements)As a successful CMV driver you will have:A CDL Class A (tractor-trailer) or CDL Class B (straight truck) license.
