Breakfast Server

Overview Hello! Our hotel is currently looking for a part-time server to work for Tuesday & Thursday. Weekends are mandatory at the moment, more days may become available as we head into our busier season! We are looking for a morning person who can serve as well as assist guests with any breakfast needs they may have! Duties Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcome and valued. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces. Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tips. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous; training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure. A commitment to cleanliness and sanitation practices within the restaurant.
