Spanish Special Education Teacher in Burnsville, MN

Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available in Burnsville, MN, working with students in a Setting 3 classroom focused on Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This contract role runs from August 31, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with approximately 37.5 hours per week and a caseload of 6-10 students.Responsibilities:Deliver tailored special education instruction to students with DCD and ASD.Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).Collaborate with other educators and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet varying needs.Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with families and team members.Qualifications:Valid teaching license with ASD or DCD endorsement (Tier 3 or 4).Experience in special education settings, particularly with autism and developmental cognitive disabilities.Ability to manage a caseload of diverse learners in a Setting 3 classroom.Strong communication and organizational skills.Proficiency or ability to teach in Spanish is a plus.Location:Burnsville, Minnesota.Contract Details:School year 2026-2027.Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.Work in one building.This role offers an excellent opportunity to support students with specialized learning needs in a dynamic school setting.
