Pediatric Emergency physician employment in Texas : TeamHealth is seeking a pediatric emergency medicine (PEM) physician to join our outstanding team at Children's Medical Center Plano, a premier Level IV Trauma Center in Plano, Texas.The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.This is a high-volume, high-acuity pediatric emergency department where physicians are supported by state-of-the-art technology, a strong specialty network, and a fully staffed team of PEM-certified physicians.Opportunity Highlights Independent contractor (1099) position Competitive compensation Base rate plus RVU 90 hours of physician coverage daily (recently increased from 80 hours) 10-hour shifts Daily census: 180-200 patients per day Patient volume: 1.8-2 patients per hour Scribes available 8% admission rate EMR: EPIC 24-hour in-house radiology reads for efficient diagnostics Bedside ultrasound and helipad services available Why Children's Medical Center Plano?
