We are eager to invest in a great fit and let your talent shine.Store Manager Responsibilities:Lead a team of 8-15 staff by demonstrating exemplary customer service, portion control, and presentation, all while maintaining the upmost professionalism in a high volume, quick service environmentUphold Sundae's standards by promoting a culture of continuous improvement with a constant focus on SOP execution, customer satisfaction, and employee retentionConfidently cultivate and grow a team by regularly assessing and developing direct reports to ensure they are engaged and motivated with a constant focus on being an exceptional employerEfficiently recruit, hire, train and retain talented employeesProvide regular and effective feedback to direct reports, complete performance reviews, and administer disciplinary actions when necessarySupport business requirements by being available for on call and emergency coverageSustain operational inventory levels by placing regular vendor orders, monitoring waste, controlling portion sizes, and accurately tracking outgoing and incoming transfersManage high-quality waffle cone, topping, and sauce production while meeting fluctuating volume demandsMaintain exceptional cleanliness, organization, and appearance throughout the storeMonitor seasonal sales trends to ensure operational success through adequate staffing that meets labor cost metricsMeet or exceed food safety requirements as established by local and state health departments and industry best practices; food safety management and HACCP certifications may be requiredIntentionally interact with the local community to maintain strong ties and foster connectionsCollaborate closely with the Production Manager to ensure cohesive retail and production operations, supporting consistent product quality and operational success.Participate in and contribute to regular staff, management, and leadership meetingsPerform administrative tasks required for retail operations, including but not limited to bank deposits, payroll reporting, and schedulingThis list is generally descriptive and is not entirely inclusive.
