SummaryThis vacancy consists of a variety of positions and grade levels aimed at insourcing critical skills. Roles may include Program and project analysis, and other mission support functions essential to human spaceflight. Primary functions include Program Integration, management and support of Flight Operation's Directorate financial systems. You will also coordinate teams and special projects as well as coordinate with a variety of stakeholders, including Division, Directorate level staff.DutiesHelpAssists with studies and preparing reports, briefings, documentation, and correspondence.Assists in providing business systems support.Supports testing, upgrades, and maintenance of Flight Operation's Directorate project information system.Assist with analysis activities designed to integrate products and deliverables into the overall NASA budget development and executionprocess.Evaluates and analyzed problems, gathers and interpret pertinent data, and applies established rules and procedures in order to recommendways to improve the organizational effectiveness and efficiency.Support financial database functions and the validation and verification of the data available and useful to perform required modeling oranalysis.RequirementsHelpConditions of employmentThis position is open to U.S. citizens, nationals or those who owe allegiance to the U.S.This position may require a one-year probationary period. Investigation/Clearance may differ and be required based on the duty location/Directorate/Division/Branch requirements.QualificationsSpecialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.To qualify for GS-09 level, you must have: One year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level:Assisting with administering, operating, and monitoring office related business systems;Performing analysis activities involving the collection, review, and organization of programmatic, operational, or administrative data to support organizational objectives; andPreparing reports, summaries, or briefing materials used by management to monitor program operations, organizational activities, or resource utilization (such as budget estimates and/or reports).OR Completed all requirements for a master's or equivalent graduate degree in an appropriate fieldOR Completed 2 full academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree in an appropriate fieldOR LL.
