Team members are encouraged to contribute ideas that improve service quality and customer experience.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Residential Roof Inspector role based in Missoula, MT. The Residential Roof Inspector is responsible for performing thorough inspections of residential roofs, documenting conditions, identifying defects or damage, and recommending appropriate repair or replacement options. Day-to-day work includes visiting job sites, climbing and walking roofs, taking detailed notes and photographs, and preparing clear inspection reports for homeowners and internal teams. The role also involves explaining findings to customers, answering questions, and ensuring they understand their options in a professional, respectful manner. The inspector collaborates closely with project managers, estimators, and roofing crews. The position requires consistent adherence to safety standards, use of proper PPE, and compliance with company procedures and local regulations.QualificationsDemonstrated experience in Property Inspections and Inspection, preferably with residential roofing or construction.Background in Property Management or similar roles involving building systems, maintenance, or condition assessments is beneficial.Customer Service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences.Ability to safely climb ladders, access and walk roofs, and work in varying weather conditions while following safety protocols.Strong attention to detail, accurate note-taking, and proficiency with basic digital tools (smartphone, email, photo documentation, and simple reporting software).Knowledge of residential roofing systems, materials, construction practices, and common types of roof damage is preferred; willingness to learn is essential.Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation to job sites, and a clean driving record, subject to applicable local laws and regulations.
