Cloud Data Architect

Required Technical Expertise: Cloud Platforms (Mandatory): Expertise with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including services like Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse/Microsoft Fabric, etc. SAP Expertise (Huge Plus): Hands-on experience with SAP BW, BOBJ, SAP Data Analytics, SAP Datasphere, and SAP BW to Datasphere migration. Legacy to Cloud Migration: Experience with legacy data platform migrations to modern cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Data Platforms: Proficiency in Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, and Synapse/Microsoft Fabric. ETL/ELT & Data Pipelines: Strong experience in ETL/ELT processes, data pipeline orchestration, and Change Data Capture (CDC) techniques. Open Source Table Formats: Experience with Apache Iceberg and Delta Lake for large-scale data lake management. Data Modeling: Knowledge of Data Vault, Data Mesh, and other advanced modeling techniques. Programming & Scripting: Proficiency in Python, SQL, and relevant languages. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master degrees are a plus. Experience: 15+ years as a Data Solutions Consultant or Pre Sales Data Engineer or in a cloud data architecture role. Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, and proficiency in cloud-native tools such as AWS Glue, DMS, Kafka, Azure Data Factory, GCP Dataflow. Experience in SAP BW, SAP Datasphere and other SAP Data Analytics tools is a plus. Expertise in building and managing data lakes and data warehouses on cloud platforms. Experience with data extraction from SAP ERP systems is a plus. Familiarity with enterprise data governance, security, and compliance requirements. Experience with data platforms such as Apache Spark, or Hadoop is a plus. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data engineering.
