Procurement AgentThe Procurement Agent manages procurement and community setup, combining sourcing and operational strategies to ensure efficient and effective execution. This role includes managing supplier relationships, sourcing initiatives and community-specific procurement needs. The Procurement Agent aligns procurement strategies with construction and operational goals while maintaining compliance, process accuracy, and budget efficiencies. This position requires on-site attendance (Mon-Thu) with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays. Primary job responsibilities include managing procurement processes for assigned categories, overseeing community setup strategy, strategizing with internal leadership, leading category management strategies, facilitating trade partner strategy and communication, providing input into and analysis of procurement and community-specific reports, managing supplier and trade partner relationships, monitoring and improving procurement processes, supervising and evaluating trade partner performance, and contributing to cross-functional team efforts. Organizational impact includes working to achieve day-to-day objectives with moderate impact on the area, working independently on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments, setting objectives for own area to meet the objectives or goals of projects and assignments, and may assist other professionals with tasks and assignments. Leadership and talent management may provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals and/or support employees. Knowledge and experience typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience, minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required, typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2-4 years of prior relevant experience. Required skills include proficiency in procurement and community setup systems, logic, and tools, understanding of category management, supplier relationships, and construction industry practices, strong interpersonal and communication skills, analytical mindset, ability to adapt to changing priorities, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining compliance with policies, procedures, and legal requirements. ISCM (Certified Procurement) or equivalent accreditation is a plus.
