Job Details Position: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) / Critical Care Nurse Location: Vicksburg, MS 39183 — travel nursing job in Mississippi Assignment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nurse) Start Date: March 23, 2026 End Date: June 22, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) with rotating weekends Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,620 - $1,700 per week On-Site Position Qualifications & Requirements Active RN license (Mississippi or compact RN preferred) Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience required; critical care nursing experience preferred Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse eligibility) Strong clinical assessment skills, ventilator management, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced ICU Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU (critical care RN duties) Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, hemodynamic status, and responses to treatment Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans Administer medications, manage ventilators, titrate drips, and perform advanced clinical procedures as needed Provide patient and family education, emotional support, and discharge planning when appropriate Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) Why Vicksburg, MS?
