Join our team and cultivate a fulfilling career.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate feed mill equipment (grinders, mixers, batching/pelleting systems) to manufacture livestock feedReceive, handle, and move feed ingredients, load and unload trucksPrepare and manage loadout, including opening hatches, attaching hoses, sampling, and ensuring accurate product deliveryMonitor batching/scaling systems and adjust processes to maintain feed quality and production accuracyPerform routine equipment maintenance (greasing, inspections, minor troubleshooting) and report mechanical issuesMaintain a clean, safe mill environment through daily housekeeping, spill cleanup, and site upkeepFollow all safety, quality, and compliance standards while working with the team to meet daily production targetsRequired ExperienceMinimum 1 year of experience in operations, production, manufacturing, agriculture, or general labor environmentsMust meet minimum age requirementsRequired SkillsAbility to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobileAbility to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demandsPreferred SkillsAgriculture experience preferredForklift certification preferredEducation RequirementsHigh School diploma or GED preferredWork Environment / Physical RequirementsAbility to work independently for extended periods of time, as well as in confined spaces and in hazardous environmentsAbility to spend long periods of time on your feet including walking, standing and climbing steps and ladders, and working at heights up to 120 ft.Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs.Ability to wear all required protective equipment, which may include respirators, hard hats, and eye and hearing protectionAbility to use both automated and manual tools and equipmentAbility to shovel, sweep, load, unload, lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs frequentlyAbility to work in noisy, dusty, and all-weather conditionsImportant NotesPre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position.
