At Drive Shack, great food, good vibes, and friendly competition come together for an unforgettable time.Job PurposeThe Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the venue to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests and team members. This role plays a vital part in creating an atmosphere that reflects Drive Shack’s standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and care.Porters are expected to work efficiently, communicate effectively, and contribute to a positive team culture built on respect, support, and professionalism.ResponsibilitiesPerform housekeeping and cleaning tasks as directed by the Facilities Manager or SupervisorMaintain cleanliness of all interior and exterior areas, including restrooms, storage areas, walkways, and common spacesEnsure restrooms are clean, stocked, and maintained with proper supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc.)Support general maintenance and minor repair tasks as neededMaintain appropriate inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipmentRespond promptly to guest or staff requests regarding cleanliness or safety concernsAdhere to all safety, health, and environmental policies and proceduresMonitor facility conditions and report any issues or hazards to managementPerform additional duties as assigned by managementQualificationsPrevious custodial, housekeeping, or porter experience preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detailExcellent communication and teamwork skillsFamiliarity with cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and sanitation best practicesReliable, self-motivated, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanlinessFlexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidaysHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredWorking ConditionsActive, physically demanding role requiring regular standing, walking, bending, and liftingExposure to varying indoor and outdoor environments, including different temperatures and weather conditionsMay involve working on wet or slippery floors, handling cleaning agents, and operating basic maintenance equipmentMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistanceExtended shifts and weekend or holiday hours may be required to meet operational needsDrive Shack is committed to equal opportunity in the workplace, preventing discrimination and harassment, including sexual misconduct, based on legally protected diversity characteristics (such as race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, family status, citizenship, genetic information and veteran status) in its application and hiring processes and in its employment decisions.
