General Job Description#ZRKEP Electric, a division of IES Residential is currently seeking Residential Electricians.The Electrician installs, alters, adds and/or repairs electrical systems in New Construction Residential Homes & Multifamily Buildings/Projects.Job Description: Electrician Location: KEP Electric Lafayette, Indianawith jobsites in and around the Indianapolis areaHours: Full-TimeResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain and repair electrical systems for Residential Homes & Multifamily Buildings.Residential and Multifamily Electrical experience required Must have proven skill to interpret blueprints and other project documentsMust be self-motivated, positive in approach, and professionalStrong organizational skills and attention to detailEnsure and maintain safe projects to meet company and OSHA safety guidelinesMaintain personal knowledge of NEC Code & installed products Ability to test and troubleshoot electrical issuesComplete rough-in to include measuring, cutting, and pulling wireQuickly corrects any potential hazard or promptly reports the hazard to the responsible personCommunicate with others, including taking direction from a supervisor and able to give direction in a way that is understood.Specific QualificationsEducation, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements:Must have a minimum of three (3) years’ electrical experience Must have knowledge of the NEC CodeMust have Valid Driver’s LicenseMust meet Company minimum driving standardsHigh School diploma or equivalent Highly knowledgeable of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the Electrical Construction IndustryWorking knowledge of the Electrical Construction residential and multifamily processAbility to bend, crouch, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, and work on ladders and scaffoldsMust be able to pass and comply with all safety training, background check and drug testing requirementsLicense RequiredNoJob LocationsUS-IN-LafayetteCompany OverviewIES Residential, Inc. is one of the nation's largest and most respected electrical, plumbing, HVAC, solar, and cable solutions providers for single-family homes and multi-family complexes since 1973.
