This role helps ensure smooth daily operations, strong communication between the orthodontist and team, and consistent, high-quality patient care.This position serves as a bridge between the doctor and the clinical team — helping maintain organization, accountability, and a positive team culture while ensuring an excellent experience for every patient.This is a leadership role that requires strong orthodontic clinical knowledge, organization, communication skills, and the ability to guide and support the clinical team.If you are bilingual (English / Spanish), friendly, outgoing, and committed to creating a fantastic orthodontic experience, we want to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesOrthodontic Department Leadership:Support daily ortho operations and help maintain efficient patient flow during clinic days.Clinical Workflow Coordination:Ensure operatories, instruments, and materials are prepared and organized for orthodontic procedures.Orthodontic Clinical Support:Assist with orthodontic procedures including adjustments, wire changes, bracket placement/removal, scans/impressions, and appliance management.Team Leadership & Support:Assist with training, mentoring, and supporting orthodontic assistants and clinical team members.Quality of Care & Compliance:Maintain high standards of patient care, infection control, and adherence to orthodontic protocols.Lab & Case Coordination:Support tracking of lab cases, appliances, aligners, and ensure timely follow-up and organization.Communication & Team Alignment:Facilitate clear communication between the orthodontist, clinical team, and administrative team.Required QualificationsBilingual in English and SpanishMinimum 3–5 years of dental assisting experience (orthodontic experience strongly preferred)Expanded duties certification (as applicable to Louisiana regulations) preferredStrong knowledge of orthodontic procedures and clinical workflowsDemonstrated leadership capabilityStrong communication and teamwork skillsProfessional, reliable, and patient-focusedAvailability to work scheduled Saturdays (select or alternating) as part of a full-time schedulePreferred CompetenciesHigh attention to detailStrong organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple patients and procedures efficientlyConflict resolution and team support skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environmentCompensation & BenefitsPay will be based on experience and qualifications.Compensation: $17.00 – $22.00 per hourBenefits may include:Benefits may include:Health insurance (employer contributes ~50% of premium)Life insurance (employer-paid)Short-term & long-term disability insurance (employer-paid)Paid time off and paid holidaysContinuing education support401(k) with employer contribution (after 1 year)Monthly bonus opportunities + team profit sharingDental and orthodontic discounts for team members and familyScrubs providedAdditional team perks (including wellness and cosmetic services at reduced cost)Schedule: Full-time, including Monday–Friday and select or alternating SaturdaysWork Location: In person
