Material Handler
Material Handler IThe Material Handler I is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely movement of materials throughout the warehouse and production areas. This role supports manufacturing operations by receiving, inspecting, transporting, and documenting materials while ensuring inventory accuracy, quality compliance, and adherence to safety standards. The Material Handler I works closely with Warehouse teams to ensure the efficient flow of materials.Responsibilities:Loads and off loads pallets from trailersMoves materials to production and/or other locations as requiredPackaging/unpacking material as needed.Ability to operate a pallet jack and/or forklift safelyReceives, matches, inspects verifies and enters NCR's into DOA logsInforms ICBTO DOA coordinator when DOA materials are ready for drop offMakes the material transfer for replacements within other building locationsEnters quality data into shop floor systemIdentifies and resolves any discrepancies in the DOA log with the WH DOA coordinatorCommunicate any discrepancies or shortage/overage to the supervisor/leadAssist gate keepers with material movement as requiredServe as a link between quality, engineering, program management and manufacturingPrepare daily documentation and reports of progressExamines items for defects, wear or damageReports information to WHS managerMaintains records of damaged stockMaintains records of damaged material-handling equipmentAny other task assignedRequirements:Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 poundsAbility to stand for a prolonged periodMust be able to effectively work within a team environmentCommunicate and can follow verbal/written directionsFrequent walking, standing, stooping, bending, and reaching required
