Mathematician - Applied Mathematics

Mathematician - Applied Mathematics ProSidian seeks a Mathematician - Applied Mathematics to support an engagement for a liquid waste contractor (Savannah River Remediation [SRMC]) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC, which is owned by the U.S. Department of Energy.Candidates shall work to support requirements for (Mathematician Services) and statement of work (SOW) while maintaining required qualifications Nuclear & Environmental Management Sector. ProSidian Team Members work as part of the Mathematician Engagement Team Cadre to serve as a Mathematician responsible for performing a variety of computational, data analytics, and problem-solving assignments in support of/related to the design, manufacture, test, installation, operation, and maintenance of diverse process equipment and systems, and generally as a member of a design, construction, operations, or review team on more complex assignments or as a lead on less complex projects.Applied mathematics underpins scientific research and development, finance, engineering, economics, and information and communication technology (ICT) Tools. ICT is changing processes of Mathematics related research, teaching, learning, and application by adding elements of vitality to classroom education environments, including virtual environments for the purpose. The new digital ICT is not a single technology; it is a combination of hardware, software, multimedia, and delivery systems. Graduates in either pure math or applied math use mathematical calculations in a wide range of work sectors to help describe, analyze and solve problems. Many jobs that require a high level of expertise in math don't have the word'mathematician' in the title. Terms such as analyst, modeler, programmer and even engineer may be used.In the context of mathematics ICT and the new technology will refer to graphical calculators and computers together with applications such as spreadsheets, graphics packages, algebra and geometry systems. Mathematicians help organizations by applying mathematical theories and techniques to solve practical problems. They collect data, analyze this data and present their findings with the aim of solving practical problems in business, government, engineering and science. The Mathematician will use computational techniques and theories to analyze data and solve problems to support and improve company business decisions. This service supports Environmental Management Sector Clients (For Present / Future Requirements), and ProSidian Team Members work as part of an Engagement Team Cadre to fulfill Mathematics requirements. A Mathematician designs, builds, and tests various applied mathematics experiments, audits, and assessments in support of structured working groups focusing on, like industrial machines, transportation systems, and robotics equipment. In addition, the Mathematician shall perform many computational applied mathematics, data analytics, and problem solving, scientific, and technical tasks in support of/related to the process of Nuclear, Energy, and Environmental Management Sector products/services/deliverables.
