SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER – WET GROUP

The firm has expanded its services to include traditional Civil/Site, as well as Watershed Resources and Utility Infrastructure Rehabilitation. TAI is seeking experience Water/Wastewater Engineers capable of making an immediate impact to meet the demanding needs of our growing client base. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Senior Project Engineer will have responsibility for water/ wastewater projects, including planning, design and construction phase services. Candidates must have a strong background in master planning, utility infrastructure rehabilitation, public water supply and/or wastewater treatment. The candidate must have demonstrated technical expertise with a wide range of water/ wastewater infrastructure projects and experience serving municipal clients. Furthermore, individuals will be responsible for client management, quality assurance/quality control of projects, as well as providing guidance and mentoring to junior members the team. As such this individual must possess outstanding work ethic, excellent communication skills and understand the use of multiple leadership styles. EDUCATION ✓ Bachelor's degree in civil/ environmental engineering with fifteen + years related experience and must be a Professional Registered Engineer in IL. PROFICIENCIES ✓ Expertise in municipal engineering including contract development and client management ✓ Direct Experience in the planning, design and construction of: O Public water supply, treatment, storage and distribution systems O Municipal wastewater collection systems and pump station O Wastewater treatment systems including BNR processes and sludge handling facilities ✓ Expertise in construction observation and supervision/management of field personnel. ✓ Expertise in environmental permitting, funding and regulatory requirements SALARY Range: $110,000 - $140,000 per year plus benefits CONTACT Applications must be submitted via email: humanresources@trotter-inc.com
