Heavy Civil Estimator (Multiple Locations)

Job DescriptionWe are actively seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Estimator to support a strong and growing project pipeline across Colorado. This role is ideal for estimators with a background in large-scale infrastructure projects including roadway, bridge, excavation, utilities, and site development.The right candidate will play a critical role in securing high-value projects by developing accurate cost estimates, analyzing risk, and collaborating closely with operations and leadership teams.This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-capitalized contractor with consistent backlog, strong leadership, and long-term career growth.ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for heavy civil construction projectsAnalyze drawings, specifications, and bid documentsPerform quantity takeoffs and pricingSolicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bidsIdentify project risks and value engineering opportunitiesPartner with Project Managers and field leadership during preconstructionSupport competitive bid strategiesQualifications5+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil constructionBackground with DOT, municipal, roadway, bridge, grading, or utility projects strongly preferredExperience working for mid-to-large civil contractors highly desired (Kiewit, Ames, Granite, Flatiron, etc.)Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and cost structuresProficiency with estimating software and digital takeoff toolsExcellent analytical and communication skillsCompensation & BenefitsBase salary: $110K - $150K (depending on experience)Performance bonusesStrong benefits packageStable project backlogCareer advancement opportunitiesApply / ContactFor confidential consideration, contact Jordan Woodson directly at 608-608-8703 or send resumes to Jordan.woodson@gogpac.com
