For over 50 years, we have proudly served residential customers as well as contractors and municipalities across a variety of industries.Position SummaryThe Driver Helper supports delivery drivers in the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of appliances to residential and commercial customers. This role is hands-on and customer-facing, requiring physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent service. The Driver Helper plays a key role in ensuring products are delivered, handled, and installed (where applicable) with care and professionalism.The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the driver with loading, unloading, and securing appliances for transportAccompany driver on delivery routes and help navigate to delivery locationsSafely carry and maneuver large appliances into customer homes or job sitesSupport basic installation of appliances (training provided where applicable)Remove packaging materials and, when required, haul away old appliancesCommunicate professionally with customers during deliveriesPerform pre- and post-trip checks with the driver to ensure load accuracy and safetyMaintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehiclesFollow all company safety policies and proceduresRequirementsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent Prior delivery, warehouse, or moving experience Ability to lift and carry heavy items (typically 75–150 lbs. with assistance) Strong teamwork and communication skills Reliable, punctual, and customer-service oriented Willingness to work in varying weather conditions Basic mechanical aptitude is a plusSalary Description$18.00 - $20.00
