The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, and experienced in banquet or restaurant leadership.The Banquet Captain serves as the primary floor leader during events, ensuring smooth execution, outstanding guest service, and effective communication between banquet staff, kitchen teams, and event management.ResponsibilitiesLead banquet staff during setup, service, and breakdown of eventsEnsure all events are executed according to banquet event orders (BEOs)Supervise and assist servers and bartenders throughout serviceMaintain high standards of guest service and professionalismCoordinate with culinary and management teams to ensure timely serviceMonitor event timelines and address guest needs promptlyTrain and mentor banquet team membersEnsure cleanliness, safety, and proper presentation of banquet spacesAssist with room setups including tables, linens, décor, and service stations
