We have a passion for growth, including investing in the development of our people.We support professionals looking for jobs with exceptional firms in the technology, construction, and engineering sectors.Role DescriptionThe Tax Analyst will support U.S. payroll tax, state/provincial and local tax, and corporate income tax compliance across the Americas region. This role is well-suited for someone with hands-on multistate payroll tax experience and a foundational understanding of federal and state corporate tax filings. The position partners closely with Payroll, HR, and Accounting to ensure timely filings, accurate reconciliations, and effective resolution of tax notices.Principle Accountabilities:Manage end-to-end payroll tax compliance across all U.S. jurisdictions (941/944, W-2/W-3, Schedule B, state unemployment and withholding returns, local taxes).Ensure timely deposits, filings, amendments, and year-end reconciliations, address variances and notices.Maintain accurate SUI rate setup, SIT/SUI registrations for new states, and multistate nexus tracking (including remote workforce considerations).Partner with Payroll/HRIS to validate taxation of fringe benefits (e.g., imputed income, relocation, equity withholding, third-party sick pay).Own processes for W-2c, W-4 compliance, and state locality nuances (e.g., PA, OH, NYC).Lead payroll tax audits and manage relationships with ADP.Coordinate with external providers federal & state corporate income/franchise tax returns, estimates, and extensions under supervision.Manage federal and state tax payments and monitor deadlines.Assist with tracking state nexus, maintaining registration records, and researching state tax requirements.Support monthly/quarterly sales & use tax compliance (if in scope).Maintain supporting documentation, workpapers, calendars, and notice logs.Assist with federal and state tax inquiries and support audit information requests.Support the quarterly tax provision process (ASC 740), through data gathering and book-to-tax adjustments.Reconcile tax general ledger accounts and maintain supporting schedules.Work with third party property tax provider in filing property tax renditions and returns.Maintain accurate tax workpapers and standardized templates.Support improvements to payroll and SALT processes, controls, and documentation.Partner with Payroll/HRIS for data validation and tax setup updates.Ensure timely management of tax calendars, notices, and filing deadlines.Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.3 - 5+ years of U.S. tax experience, including hands-on payroll tax and exposure to state and corporate tax.Understanding of multistate payroll rules and payroll tax filing requirements.Strong Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations).Experience with payroll systems such as ADP.CPA or EA (or working toward certification).Experience supporting state income/franchise tax filings.Exposure to tax provision (ASC 740) concepts.Experience with tax compliance software (ONESOURCE) or payroll tax portals.What we can offer you!Attractive monthly base salary + competitive commission/performance bonus.Genuine career progression opportunities, either locally or globally!World-class training programmes and development opportunities.Virtual Onboarding Events exclusively for new hires.Team driven environment, supportive culture with a focus on work-life balance.Career breaks available after one year.Real time recognition through our employee reward platform.Mental Health First Aiders to signpost you to support when you need it.Yearly destination trips as part of our High Flyers program (Dubai, Buenos Aires, etc...)Charity days for various important causes such as Relay for Life and Earth Day.Our Core Values:Growth - In life and business, one must grow to flourish and achieve high ambitions.
