This teammate will provide services on behalf of America West Medical Transportation by driving a gurney and/or wheelchair vehicle.About the roleThe Driver will be responsible for picking up customers/patients using a fully loaded vehicle equipped with a GPS system. This position may work independently or with another teammate based on driving assignments.What you'll doIndependently run medical transportation operations in a company vehicleEnsure patients are transported safely from their home to place of service (vice versaUtilize company transportation softwareProvide excellent customer service to patients and their familiesAssume on-call responsibilitiesEffectively communicate with leadershipMaintain vehicle cleanlinessQualificationsCA Driver's license requiredClean driving record (No more than 1 pointAbility to successfully pass a drug test and health screening which includes an alcohol test and TB skin test and/or TB chest x-ray, (Please note: For drug testing, what is legal at the state level is illegal at the federal level. We have federal level contractsAbility to pass a physical agility testAbility to lift/maneuver 50 poundsFluency in speaking and understanding English, strong communication skillsAbility to drive to various locationsProfessionalismAbility to use apps and electronic devices
