Full time Nanny Housekeeper-Greenwich, CT

Position: Full-Time Nanny / Housekeeper Location: Private family home / Greenwich, CT Children: 8 and 6 years old Schedule: - Guaranteed 40 hours per week - Typically 4 days per week (5th day available with advance notice) - Usual hours: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM - Flexibility required for occasional earlier starts (6:30 AM – 7:00 AM) or later end times Compensation: - $35/hr + PTO - Guaranteed 40 hours per week Overview: We are seeking a warm, reliable, and proactive Nanny/Housekeeper to support a busy family with school-aged children. This role focuses on household management and food preparation during school hours, shifting to hands-on childcare in the afternoons, on random sick days. The ideal candidate is nurturing yet firm, highly organized, and comfortable taking direction. Primary Responsibilities: Childcare: - Provide attentive and loving care to school-aged children. - Maintain household rules and routines with consistency. - Transition to a nanny-focused role in the afternoon and as needed. - Assist with occasional drop-offs and pick-ups (nanny car provided). - Engage children in age-appropriate activities. Housekeeping & Household Support: - Manage daily housekeeping, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, bathrooms, laundry, and organization. - Maintain a clean, well-run home with strong attention to detail and regular deep cleaning. - Run local errands as needed. - Plan and prepare healthy meals according to family preferences. Additional Requirements: - Willingness to follow family rules and preferences. - Flexible, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently. - Must have at least three years of professional nanny experience with verifiable non-relative references. - Must be a confident driver (nanny car provided).
