Service Truck Operator

DescriptionOK Tire Store, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Service Truck Operator to perform tire repair and mounting for various types of tires in all weather conditions. This position requires participation in a 24-hour rotating on-call schedule to ensure timely roadside and emergency service for customers. The ideal candidate must also be detail-oriented to collect and document necessary information for proper billing administration.ResponsibilitiesRespond promptly to service calls as directed by the Service Writer(s).Communicate with the shop upon job completion to receive the next assignment.Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.Complete all DOT-required and company paperwork, including obtaining printed and written signatures for national account work.Assist in the shop when not on a service call, as assigned by the Service Writer.Unload and store tires in the designated area.Submit fuel receipts daily to the Administrative Assistant.Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Report all near misses, incidents, and injuries, ensuring proper documentation is filed within required timeframes.Perform additional duties as assigned, which may change based on company needs.Minimum QualificationsAbility to lift 75 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally.Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.Comfortable working in various environments, including outdoor conditions with extreme heat, cold, dust, and exposure to automotive chemicals.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Must have a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.Work ScheduleStandard hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.Peak season: May require extended hours to meet customer demands.Rotating on-call schedule for 24-hour emergency service.
