Structural Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Structural Engineer to support the design, analysis, and construction oversight of facilities at a major site in Kiln, MS. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both design work and hands-on problem solving , ensuring structures are safe, compliant, and built to perform. What You’ll Be Doing Design and analyze structural systems for new and existing facilities Perform calculations and modeling to ensure structural integrity and compliance Create or review drawings in tools like AutoCAD, Revit, or Civil3D Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and construction teams Support construction oversight , ensuring builds align with design intent Manage projects independently, including planning, execution, and decision-making Required Qualifications 3+ years of structural engineering experience Strong knowledge of U.S. structural codes & standards (ASCE, ACI, AISC, IBC, etc.) Experience with one or more of the following: PTC (Windchill, Mathcad, Creo) Autodesk (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil3D) Bentley (STAAD, RAM, MicroStation) RISA, EnerCalc, ANSYS, HiltiProfis, ArcGIS, Trimble Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field Proficiency in Microsoft Office Nice to Have PE license or working toward it Experience supporting government or federal facilities
