Medical Infusion Collector (In-Person)

Infusion Collections PositionThe objective of the Infusion Collections is to assist the Reimbursement Supervisor with the billing and collection process for all MIDC branches. This is a full-time, in-person position at the office located in Burr Ridge, IL.Schedule: Monday-Friday (in-person)Specific Duties:Assist Reimbursement Supervisor in collecting intake information, verifying insurance benefits, and negotiating insurance payment rates as necessary for all new patientsComplete Authorization processPerform insurance and billing functions for all branchesProvide explanation of charges as necessary to payers and patientsAssist Reimbursement Supervisor in posting cash in computerized account function as neededMonitor unbillables and provide status reports to the Reimbursement SupervisorTrack and collect all documentation necessary to complete billing functionFollow up with insurance companies and patients on any outstanding balancesDevelop mutually agreeable payment schedules in cooperation with insurers and patientsProvide appropriate documentation with all printed claimsReview Clearing House for claim rejections / errorsPerform re-determinations and appeals as neededOther duties and tasks as assigned
