We're looking for a detail-oriented, service-driven Loan Processor. This role is critical to ensuring a smooth and accurate loan experience from closing through funding while helping members take important steps toward their financial goals. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING You'll play a key role in bringing loans across the finish line while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and a positive member experience. Your responsibilities will include: * Managing multiple consumer and mortgage loan pipelines simultaneously while maintaining quality, accuracy, and service standards. * Preparing and sending loan closing packages to members. * Reviewing executed loan documents for completeness and accuracy. * Booking and funding loans within the Credit Union's core processing systems. * Coordinating loan disbursements and ensuring proceeds are delivered to the appropriate parties. * Obtaining and tracking post-closing documentation from dealers, insurance providers, attorneys, and other third parties. * Reviewing loan files and documentation to ensure compliance with Credit Union policies, investor requirements, and regulatory guidelines. * Processing residential mortgage applications and following up with members for required documentation. * Enhancing key lending operations by coordinating critical closing, funding, documentation, and quality control activities to facilitate successful loan origination and portfolio management. * Supporting cross-functional lending operations through cross-training and backup coverage. Qualifications include: * Experience in consumer lending, mortgage processing, loan operations, financial services, or a related field. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. * Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Working knowledge of loan documentation, funding processes, and regulatory requirements. * Excellent communication and follow-up skills. * Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. * Proficiency with lending systems, core processing platforms, and Microsoft Office applications. * Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teammates and business partners. * Commitment to delivering an exceptional member experience.
