Painter -2nd Shift

Use and maintain PPE (personal protection equipment). Alternates with co-workers to load/unload the mechanized paint line. Operates and stands on a moving hydraulic personnel lift while spraying paint. Selects correct coating to be applied to product. Mix paint to correct viscosity. Pours coating liquid into spray container and connects gun to air hose. Turns sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray. Pulls trigger and directs spray onto work surface to apply prime or finish coat to specific tolerance. Cleans spraying equipment and brushes with solvent. Responsible for proper hazardous waste container management and emergency response as required upon completion of required hazardous waste training. Other duties may be assigned. #ADTI
