1st Shift Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities Coordinate production schedules and resolve issues related to methods, tools, materials, and manpower. Ensure equipment is clean, safe, and operational; maintain 5S standards. Lead daily team meetings and motivate staff. Oversee production to minimize downtime and meet quality standards. Monitor costs, quality, schedules, and inventory; implement corrective actions as needed. Review daily production data and report KPIs. Participate in hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Plan staffing schedules and authorize overtime when necessary. Manage budgets and track attendance. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Support critical deadlines with flexible scheduling when required. EducationBachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience. Experience5+ years of leadership experience. Understanding of P&L and how operations impact profitability. Experience managing 10-15 employees, including hiring, training, and performance management. Skills & KnowledgeStrong leadership and team management skills. Problem-solving and analytical thinking. Production planning and scheduling experience. Basic Lean Manufacturing knowledge; Six Sigma Green Belt preferred. Proficient in computer applications and ERP systems. Ability to read mechanical measurements and use instrumentation. Clear verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively. JDP
