Neighbor Pet Food actively supports communities by partnering with local rescues, veterinary clinics, and independent pet retailers across the Pacific Northwest. Currently rooted in Portland and expanding into Seattle, Neighbor Pet Food is dedicated to enhancing pet nutrition and community engagement. Role Description This is a part-time on-site role located in Portland, OR. The Fractional CFO/Controller will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, including financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis. They will manage the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks, while providing strategic insights to support business growth. This role will also involve working closely with leadership to inform financial strategy and decision-making for the company's expansion across the Pacific Northwest. Qualifications Strong background in Financial Planning and demonstrated ability to create effective financial strategiesProficiency in preparing, analyzing, and maintaining accurate Financial Statements and Financial ReportingExpertise in Finance with advanced Analytical Skills to assess and guide business decisionsKnowledge of financial regulations and compliance standardsExperience in similar roles, such as CFO or Controller, preferably in small or growing businessesBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA is a plus)Excellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to work on-site in Portland, OR
