COMPANY/LOCATION: SUNCOAST INFRASTRUCTURE(This is NOT a job on a gas or oil pipeline)General Summary of the Position:Perform a variety of tasks involving physical labor on trenchless CIPP pipeline rehabilitation and construction projects. May operate a variety of hand and power tools. It does not imply that all positions within the class perform all of the duties listed, nor does it necessarily list all possible duties that may be assigned.)Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy construction projectsLoads and unloads materials, tools and equipment onto from trucksMay cuts brush and clears ground around pipe and manholes, using pick, shovel, wheelbarrow and axRolls up hoses and lays hoses flatSets up and performs traffic control at site as directedMay cut pipe ends out of manholesOperates a variety of hand and power toolsMaintains a clean job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazardsEnsures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Bring problems to the attention of the Foreman, Superintendent or Safety DirectorRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in heavy construction workKnowledge of applicable safety precautionsAbility to work independently and complete daily activities according to work scheduleAbility to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditionsAbility to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructionsAbility to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistencyRequired Education, Training and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent (GED) requiredValid appropriate state driver’s license (general operator license); must be willing to obtain CDLWillingness and ability to perform manual work following verbal and written instructionsWork Environment:Regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphaltMust be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue and to effectively jump, sprint or throw an objectRequires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordinationNoise level is generally loudMust be able to quickly move arms and legsExcellent stamina is requiredPowered by JazzHRlCLZisL8C5
