Job Description
Summary of Position:The Account Manager manages the ongoing customer relationships and is responsible for contract renewals to existing clients, introduction of new products and services, and revenue growth.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintains and nurtures existing client relationships at the senior management levelOversees negotiation of renewal contractsPerforms high level issue resolutionSupports and coordinates the interaction between all customer facing departments and existing accounts within the specified region.Develops and implements strategic sales and new product placement plans to accommodate region's goals.Reviews market factors to determine client needs, price schedules, and discount rates.Assists Client Services in challenging situations.Understands the business climate including industry type, growth rate, and market factors in assigned territories.Generates account plans for all key accountsPrepares periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of client base expansion.Presents demos to key clients and provides customer training on existing and new products and servicesControls expenditures of specified region to conform to budgetary requirements.Develops new sales opportunities within the financial banking industryAttends Trade Shows and ConferencesQUALIFICATIONS: (required)Bachelor's degree preferredMinimum 8 plus years related experience or equivalentCommitment to excellence and high standardsStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skillsAcute attention to detailDemonstrated ability to plan and organize projectsAbility to deal effectively with a variety of individuals at all organizational levels.Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisionsAbility to direct and recommend cost-effective creative solutionsAbility to perform diversified clerical functions and basic accounting proceduresProficient on PowerPoint, salesforce, and excelThe ability to effectively present online or in person product demonstrationsTravel to clients or shows when applicableAnalyze statistical and financial dataCoordinate multiple tasks simultaneouslyCollect, interpret, and/or analyze complex data and informationADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Possess a valid State Issued Driver's License and is insurableProvide and maintain current valid proof of automobile insurance policySuccessfully complete a background verification process
