Avir at Grand Saline is looking for a qualified Full-Time Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Grand Saline, TX!Open to new grads!Job Summary: The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) will provide direct patient care services under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT). The OTA will be responsible for documenting patient treatments, changes in condition and other pertinent information as required.ResponsibilitiesPlan and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing.Provides skilled occupational therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational TherapistResponds to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to Occupational TherapistAssure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care.Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers.Monitor patient response to treatment intervention.Complete required forms and documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations.Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.Requirements:Active/Valid Texas license as Occupational Therapy AssistantValid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boardsSNF/Long term care experience preferredCurrent knowledge of treatment practicesKnowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferredCareer AdvantagesIn-house Rehab (non-contracted)!New Grads welcome to apply!Competitive Compensation & Benefits!
