AssemblerWe are seeking a skilled assembler to join our team. You will be responsible for reading technical drawings and assembling equipment such as power distribution units, static transfer switches, energy storage systems, and other integrated products.ResponsibilitiesAssemble complete products or subassemblies to specifications by understanding and following electrical schematics, CAD models, part drawings, and bills of material.Interpret standard documentation and techniques and apply them to custom applications based on existing products.Create point-to-point control and power wiring based on schematics, including crimping, soldering, and the creation of wiring harnesses.Electrically assemble new variants of existing products, including minor mechanical assembly.Understand and apply best practices for electro-static discharge handling requirements.Inspect parts for flaws and imperfections.Identify any missing parts from assemblies and recommend improvements in products, processes, and practices.Work safely in accordance with Health and Safety procedures, wearing required personal protective equipment.Adhere to all ISO 9001 policies and procedures.Keep all work areas clean and organized, and assist in other production areas as needed.Essential SkillsAssembly experience in electrical and mechanical domains.Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.Experience with hand tools, power tools, and soldering.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Excellent manual dexterity.Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma required; a mechanical or electro-mechanical diploma from a Community College or equivalent is an asset.Previous work experience in a similar role.Knowledge of hand tools and portable power tools such as drills and impact drivers.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Professional verbal and written communication skills.Some use of computers may be required.Job-specific training may be needed (e.g., forklift, overhead crane, safety training).Why Work Here?Join a growing company that offers room for promotion and full health benefits for permanent positions.Work EnvironmentYou will work in a well-lit, climate-controlled manufacturing environment.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buford, GA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
