Job Description:Position Type: Full-Time | ContractOverviewWe are seeking experienced Aircraft Mechanic II personnel to perform depot-level maintenance, modifications, and operational checks on MHU-196 and MHU-204 heavy munitions trailers in support of U.S. Air Force operations.Work will be performed at assigned Air Force installations, with periodic travel to additional locations as required.Period of Performance: May 29, 2026 – September 29, 2027ResponsibilitiesPerform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on support equipmentExecute modifications in accordance with Technical Orders (TCTOs)Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and structural systemsConduct inspections, operational checks, and diagnosticsMaintain compliance with technical data, documentation, and maintenance recordsSupport tool control and equipment accountability proceduresFollow all safety, OSHA, and hazardous material handling requirementsQualificationsMinimum 2 years of maintenance experience, including 1 year in hydraulicsExperience repairing and maintaining hydraulic systems on aircraft or support equipmentAbility to:Interpret engineering drawings and specificationsPerform system assembly, repair, and operational checksConduct hydraulic system bleeding and testingKnowledge of pressurized fluid systems and safe handling of hazardous materialsNormal color vision requiredWork Locations & TravelPrimary duty location will be specified at time of hire.Travel May Be Required To:Dyess AFB, TXEdwards AFB, CAEllsworth AFB, SDSheppard AFB, TXAdditional InformationTools and equipment are providedWork performed in accordance with Air Force Technical Orders and maintenance standardsRequires the ability to obtain a CACJob Ident #: Apply NowCompany DetailsStrategic Technology Institute, Inc6000 Executive BlvdSuite 205Rockville , Maryland 20852 USAwww.sti-inc.com162 Open Jobs AvailableFollow Strategic Technology Institute, IncStrategic Technology Institute, Inc. was founded in 1985, and is headquartered in Rockville, MD.
