Job DetailsDescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe following description of work to be performed by this individual is not intended to be all-inclusive. Rather, it focuses on the major tasks that must be accomplished.Ensure that safety is always the number one priority at Alexandria Industries; promote and support a safe work environment and safety oriented culture by following all safety programs and guidelinesRead and follow instructions on manufacturing orders and blueprints to ensure that components meet product and customer design specificationsPerform quality inspections using precision measurement devices to ensure all parts meet specificationsAccurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders:Review manufacturing orders in order to verify internal and external customer specificationsEnsure all quality practices are being followedSet up and run equipment in order to make modifications to aluminum partsInspect the parts as required to ensure the parts meet customer quality specificationsEnsure proper deburring, in order to guarantee that no burrs or sharp edges are on any partsInspect the parts to ensure that no nylon residue is left on the parts after running through the equipmentEnsure parts are assembled according to customer specificationsAccurately punch and stamp parts according to customer specificationsPackage orders based on customer specificationsMeet delivery schedules to ensure customer service and satisfactionOperate CNC machines as needed and perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner in alignment with company policiesProvide machine shop support; deburring, tumbling, packing, assembly, punching, bending, etc.Perform basic machine maintenance as needed; clean out chips, monitor coolant levels, etc.Follow all company initiatives in the areas of 5S, quick-response-manufacturing (QRM), and safetyCommunicate effectively with supervisor, team members and other shifts as needed to ensure efficient and successful completion of customer ordersMaintain department and company performance and production goalsOperate manual machining equipment as neededCross train within the machine shop to learn and develop skills on a variety of machines and equipmentOTHER JOB DUTIES (Not Considered Essential To The Job)Perform all other related assignments (including special projects) as required in a professional and cooperative manner.Minimum QualificationsExperience:1+ years of manufacturing experience preferredA resume is required, and applicants must meet the qualifications outlined in the job description.BenefitsA.I.
