1st Shift - CNC Machinist (16426)

Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Machinist to join our 1st shift team. In this role, you will machine precision components across a variety of materials and processes, supporting both production and prototype development.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate machining equipment (manual and/or CNC mills, lathes, etc.)Machine components used in:Aluminum Die CastingCNC Machining applicationsTool & Die fabrication and repairZinc Die CastingRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specificationsPerform precision machining to meet tight tolerances and quality standardsInspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gaugesMake adjustments and offsets to maintain part accuracySupport prototype development and new product introductionPerform routine machine maintenance and cleaningMaintain accurate production and inspection recordsFollow all safety procedures and company policiesQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred2+ years of machining experience preferredExperience working with aluminum, zinc, and tool steels is a plusAbility to read blueprints and understand tolerances (GD&T a plus)Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsExperience with precision measuring toolsBasic computer skills for machine interface and documentationSubmission to a criminal background checkPreferred SkillsExperience in die casting environments (aluminum and/or zinc)Background in tool & die machining or maintenanceFamiliarity with prototyping and low-volume production workAbility to perform basic CNC program editsKnowledge of tooling, speeds, and feedsExperience with lean manufacturing practicesPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periodsLift up to 50 lbs as neededManual dexterity for handling tools and partsComfortable working in a manufacturing environmentWhat We OfferCompetitive pay based on experienceShift differential for 3rd shiftHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidays401(k) with company matchOpportunities for advancement and trainingASP1
