Electrical TechnicianThe Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role requires expertise in industrial electrical systems, strong problem-solving abilities, and commitment to safety standards.

Role Responsibilities:
Electrical Systems Maintenance
Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical components
Troubleshoot electrical failures and implement solutions
Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
Install and maintain power distribution systems
Service industrial controls and PLC systems
Safety and Compliance
Follow all electrical safety procedures and lockout/tagout protocols
Ensure compliance with NEC standards and local codes
Maintain clean and safe work areas
Document all electrical work and maintenance activities
Participate in safety meetings and training sessions
Equipment and Operations Support
Support production equipment maintenance
Respond to emergency electrical issues
Assist in equipment upgrades and installations
Perform routine electrical inspections
Maintain inventory of electrical parts and supplies
Education and Certifications:
Associate's degree in Electrical Technology or related field
Journeyman Electrician license preferred
Valid electrical certification required
Additional technical certifications beneficial
Experience / Skills / Abilities:
Technical Skills:
3+ years industrial electrical experience
Knowledge of:
AC/DC power systems
Motor controls and VFDs
PLC systems
Industrial automation
Electrical testing equipment
Power distribution systems
General Skills:
Strong troubleshooting abilities
Excellent problem-solving skills
Good communication capabilities
Ability to read technical documentation
Basic computer proficiency
