Start and end date to coincide with student school schedule. Up to 40 hours per week. Days available Monday-Friday. Apply now as position is available until filled.Job Summary: Under the general supervision of the Water Supervisor and full time Utility staff, this position is responsible for the daily seasonal maintenance and upkeep of utility facilities and grounds.We encourage you to apply early, as this posting may close once qualified candidates are identified.Examples of DutiesMowing: Regularly mow grass of designated utility and municipal grouds to keep the areas well-maintained.Trimming, Weeding, and Mulching: Ensure a neat and tidy appearance by trimming plants/trees, removing weeds, and applying mulch where needed.Litter collection: Pick up and properly dispose of any litter on utility grounds to keep properties clean and inviting.Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.Typical QualificationsRequirements:Minimum Age 17 years old.Must be dependeable and able to report to work on time.Special Requirements:Good driving record.Valid state driver's license or the ability to obtain one prior to start of job.Must possess and wear ankle high safety toe boots while at work.Supplemental InformationKnowledge and experience with basic labor and maintenance-related tasks.Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.Capability to perform the physical tasks, including lifting, climbing, and operating equipment.For any questions, issues, or accomodation with your application or position applying for, please contact Human Resources at 262-569-3225.This position is not eligible for benefits.
