Store Manager
Position SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic, organized, and community-minded Store Manager to oversee all operational, administrative, and donation-related activities for our retail store. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, financial accountability, staff and volunteer leadership, and strong community engagement. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences while supporting our mission.This is a fulltime position, 37.5 hours per week and the schedule is as follows: Tuesday - Saturday 8:30am - 4:30pm.Key Responsibilities:Store Operations & FacilitiesOversee day-to-day store operations including inventory control, pricing, displays, and fixture maintenanceMaintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment for customers, staff, and volunteersPlan and manage store layout, merchandising, and advertising displaysCoordinate special sales and promotionsFinancial & Administrative OversightSupervise daily cash operations including register activity, receipts, deposits, and recordkeepingPrepare monthly and ad hoc operational and financial reports in collaboration with the Finance DepartmentManage vouchers and monitor store income and expenditures to ensure fiscal stabilityOversee the store’s eBay account and MSP online storeMerchandise & DonationsCoordinate all in-kind donations and clothing collection bins with local corporations, schools, and organizationsInspect merchandise to ensure accurate pricing and appealing presentationRecommend merchandise additions and deletions to optimize salesOversee or ensure proper disposal of damaged or unsellable itemsStaff & Volunteer LeadershipProvide overall direction, supervision, and evaluation of store staff and volunteersRecruit, train, and support staff and volunteers in sorting, pricing, display standards, and customer serviceFoster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team environmentCustomer & Community RelationsAddress customer concerns and resolve issues professionally to maintain strong community relationshipsWork with the CBDO to develop and implement marketing, advertising, and community outreach strategiesSafety & Professional DevelopmentEnsure safety procedures are followed for customers, staff, and volunteersMaintain and enhance professional knowledge through ongoing training and education.Why Join Us?Meaningful work that makes a positive impact in the communitySupportive, mission-driven team environmentOpportunity to shape store operations and community engagementWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer. QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent.Two years experience in retail store operations and management, including staff supervision. Must be proficient in Microsoft 365. Must be able to navigate through electronic health records system (EHR). Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license. Must maintain an acceptable driving record and be insurable at a reasonable rate under the Organization’s auto insurance plan.
