Certified Athletic TrainerGraceland University is seeking a full-time Assistant Athletic Trainer on the Lamoni, Iowa campus. Founded in 1895 and sponsored by Community of Christ, Graceland is a community of passionate, caring, and dedicated individuals who make up a worldwide community network that reaches far beyond its two campuses.Lamoni is a city in Decatur County, Iowa. The population is about 2,052. Located an hour south of Des Moines; and about 2 hours north of Kansas City on I-35.This is an 11-month position reporting directly to the Director of Sports Medicine. Graceland University currently serves about 630 student-athletes across 23 varsity sports.Responsibilities include:providing athletic training services in the Athletics Departmentusing the ATS software for injury trackingpossible supervision of work study and Capstone internship studentsother duties as assigned by the Athletic Director, Director of SM, or Associate Head Athletic TrainerQualifications include:Master's degree (preferred) in related fieldNATABOC certified athletic trainer (ATC), in good standingminimum of one year experienceIowa Athletic Trainer's license (or eligible)Additional Compensation includes:NATA duesState Licensure duesAthletic Training Personal Liability FeesSome additional funds for CEU'sNights and weekends are required as well as some travel.Graceland University competes in the NAIA's highly competitive Heart of America Athletic Conference in a wide variety of sports, so the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with athletes of all types.Application: Please submit your cover letter, resume, and list of at least three professional references by clicking Apply.
