Litigation Associate

Robinson Franzman, LLP is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Associate to join our growing team in downtown Atlanta. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior attorney (1–3 years of experience) looking to develop strong litigation skills in a collaborative, high-performance environment, with exposure to both civil and commercial litigation matters.About the RoleAs a Litigation Associate, you will work closely with experienced attorneys on a variety of civil and commercial disputes, gaining hands-on experience in all phases of litigation—from case strategy through trial preparation.Key Responsibilities- Assist in all aspects of civil and commercial litigation, including pleadings, discovery, and motion practice- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, and briefs- Manage and organize case files and discovery materials- Take and defend depositions (as experience allows)- Participate in hearings, mediations, and trial preparation- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnelQualifications- J.D. from an accredited law school- Active membership in the Georgia Bar (or ability to obtain promptly)- 1–3 years of litigation experience (civil and/or commercial litigation preferred)- Strong legal research and writing skills- Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environmentWhat We’re Looking For- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills- Clear and persuasive written and verbal communication- Initiative and ownership over assigned matters- Professionalism and sound judgment- A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn- Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic litigation environmentWork EnvironmentThis is a full-time, in-office position based in our downtown Atlanta office.
